I haven't been able to find too much on the internet, just the basic premise. Anyone have some information on this game?

The game will take place directly after Evil Dead II, where Ash will be sent to an asylum owing to all the dead bodies found in the cabin. The game will completly ignore Army of Darkness. At the asylum, an evil Doctor will use the necronomicon to summon up the undead. It will once again be up to Ash to save the day, but he will now be joined by a good deadite named Sam. This character will be voiced by Ted Raimi and will be a sidekick for Ash. He can be used to solve puzzles and attack enemies. The combat system for the game borrows heavily from both Devil May Cry and Van Helsing. Ash can knock enemies into the air with his chainsaw, and keep them up there by blasting away with his guns, just like Dante. He will also have a harpoon gun to draw enemies closer.
I've played and cleared both previous Evil Dead games, and I must say that Regeneration could easily be the best of the bunch. It looks...groovy!

Well, the games get better and better, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was the best. A good Deadite? That seems a little strange, but it may be cool to have a companion.

Also, I kinda wish they'd remake a version at the cabin, simply because, as much as I love ED, I didn't enjoy that game. I guess they shouldn't, since we need new ideas, but I just want to "play the movies" I guess you could say.

That kinda sounds like the upcoming Army of Darkness vs Re-Animator comic book, where Ash is thrown in Arkham Asylum with the Re-Animator.
on a few sites, rumor is that its 20 dollars. OMG! Ash in Arkham, that's gonna be interesting.
