What if the game was set like Vice City with more freedom and the ability to drive verhicles, now that would be cool, stunts n'all. I just feel the game should offer more than the killing of deadites, I mean its fun but it does get a little repetitive. There should also be a level where there is some day light, is it always dark in Dearborn, anyway you know what I mean.
I dunno, man. I get where you are coming from, but that last crap ED game was built on the Rockstar games State Of Emergancy engine, and it sucked like a Dyson.
>>"There should also be a level where there is some day light, is it always dark in Dearborn."
The whole point of the Deadites are that they bring Evil. And what is Evil associated with?.....Darkness. It's like the whole vampire thing dude. That's why it's dark all the time. The Deadites are at their strongest in the dark. And if they're winning they keep it that way. It wouldn't be an Evil Dead game if it wasn't dark all the time.
I can't believe this. this is the second game today that I have geard someone say should be more like a GTA game. What's with that? No offense to william_taylor or to the GTA franchise(i love it as much as the next guy), but everyone just wants to play GTA. This game is totally different from GTA. YOur not livin the thug life, you vanquishing(sp?) demons. If you want to play a similar game to GTA play The Warriors.
btw, Devil May Cry series and Gun do not have to be like GTA
I think the dude meant you should just have a bit more options. I never played a Fist Full Of Boomstick, but i played the first PSX game for it and this one. And I think the PSX one was way better because it wasnt just kill kill kill, you had to do stuff. (Dont get me wrong regeneration has some pretty sweet stuff in it)
and about the day light thing: Yeah that was stupid.
I see where the dude's coming from. I thinks thats why they added the character Sam. But i agree, it gets repetetive after a couple levels, and they bombard you with hard to kill badguys, which can make it frustrating instead of challenging. more puzzles would help out a lot. Otherwise, kick ass game

The last poster had some good ideas. And I agree with what the original poster was saying. Look at ARMY OF DARKNESS. Ash landed during the day, started his quest for the book in the early morn and trained Arthur's men under a sunny sky...
I wouldn't have a clue on how they could do it but have missions (raiding S Mart for supplies, creating barricades?) you have to complete in a certain amount of time before the sun goes down and Deadites over run the place...
