It's really boring actually. Anne Hathaway is not a good actress and for some reason, Streep was not that ''good'' in this role.. dare I say she was the worst I've ever seen her on film in terms of her acting. I also hated the jokes about Anne Hathaway being fat, the woman was so thin in the movie her collar bones were jutting out. It didn't really fly at all (no basis in reality) and was offensive even back in 2006.

Yet this movie remains beloved and considered ''classic'' somehow. I will never understand.

I suppose there aren't very many lighter adult movies of this type being released into theatres. And this is a movie about the fashion industry, so size becomes an issue.

My brother only watched it to drool over Anne Hathaway and never watched it again.

In my case, I think this movie is entertaining with very good perfomances. Apart from that Anne Hathaway looks beautiful here.
