The Star Spangled Man with a Plan

How good is this sequence? Such an unexpected, flashy, fun moment and probably my favourite scene in all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Anyone agree?

It's most definitely great entertainment! We need to find a producer to back a Broadway Captain America show featuring this number. My personal favorite scene though is when Dr. Erskine tells Steve "No matter what happens tomorrow, you must promise me one thing. That you will stay who you are. Not a perfect soldier. But a good man".

"Well, if it isn't the Star Spangled Man with a plan. What is your plan for today?"

Loves that jab by Col. Phillips.

I loved that scene because it actually gave a credible explanation for how Cap was an actual soldier AND also a major propaganda tool featured in comic books and trading cards. It also gave you the only good view of the actual Captain America costume from the comics, if only to prove to any nay-sayers how ridiculous it would look in actual combat.

I'm so ugly...that's ok 'cause so are you.

That song should've won Best Song at the Oscars. Alas I don't think it was even nominated :/

One too many montages. Bring back the dancing girls.

I’m in complete and total agreement. This delightful sequence is marvelously executed and just impressive on every level. It’s so great for various reasons. And I will no doubt say that it remains one of the best scenes in the entire MCU (or hell, in any WWII film). Super underrated.

How great was Evans btw? The man absolutely nailed it! (Pftt that recent hate thread.)
