It was simply amazing, had a far more realistic touch. The acting was great, the atmosphere was was great and the 3d effect was awesome all the way through.
I had my doubts when I went to see this but it's easily Marvel's best superhero movie.
I don't know if it's Marvel's best "easily" (Iron Man and Thor are remarkable as well) but it IS one of the top five hero movies of all-time in my book without a doubt.
All three Marvel related films this summer may be on that list. It's been a great year.
the best? possibly. I had to see this film a second time to really get a feeling from it. Captain America is my favorite superhero and this film is as good as the first Iron Man and one of the best superhero films I have ever seen. For me I have Cap on such a pedestal I am not sure I could see any actor doing him justice. Evans does the best job possible but not perfect but close enough for me. I really liked the line at the end "I had a date." that had real emotional impact for me. Cap is a man out of time now who will try to find his new calling next year in the Avengers.
"so you cooked up a story and dropped the six of us in a meat grindah."
And top of the Avengers crop means top of the mountain because Marvel has upped the game for everyone. Sure Spider-Man 2 and X2 are still classics but Marvel has shown everyone what to do. Fox even learned from this and that's why I think X-Men First Class turned out so good.
It's a toss up between Cap and Thor for me, but I do agree that if it was possibly the best of all the superhero films. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man and a few others, but there's something about this one that stood out.
I wanna have the same last dream again The one where I wake up and I'm alive

I have no doubt at all that it will carry over to The Wolverine which starts filming later this year. That movie is going to kick ass.

personally I dont find Superman Returns to be all that bad but it was nowhere as good as it should have been. Catowman-more like crapwoman. It has nothing to do with Batman and has story that seems like something from an unused episode from the Superfriends or Scooby Doo?! I only watched part of it and glad I did. It totally sucks. Cap blows those 2 movies away and doesnt even have to try.

Maybe people are harsh on Superman Returns because all it did was rehash a film from the 70's everyone already knew and already liked? Bryan Singer is so much better than that.
There's no doubt Fox will keep the team together if possible. They made good money and finally got the respect of the fans back like the X2 days. Why wouldn't they learn their lesson?
Fox should know better given the fact that is was a new concept and cast. Prequels are always tough sells and that one did quite well. Plus, Fassbender is the new IT guy. I hope they signed him for three.
Tough call, but 'Captain America' and 'Thor' are way up there for me.
'Captain America' is beautifully filmed; the WWII era scenes have this wonderful golden lighting that give it a period feel. And really, I just love the whole WWII aspect of the character/movie. I think it's America's greatest generation, and how our country came together during that time to defeat the Axis Powers.....it makes me proud of the red, white, and blue. I love the character.
As has been mentioned, I also like the last line of the film - "I had a date" - and I also love how the ending credits are shown over authentic, well-known WWII propaganda posters.
