I wonder if any Clone Troopers resisted Order 66? (Spoilers)

In Episode 1 of Season 6 (available only on Netflix) Clone Trooper Tup has a meltdown and kills a Jedi and can't think of why he did it.

His Sub-conscious genetic programming glitched and Order 66 kicked in ahead of time.

If that could happen then could other Clone Troopers who, unlike Battle-droids, are not rigidly fixed to their programming, resist Order 66 and spare their Jedi commanders?

That would explain why a few Jedi survived other than Yoda and Obi-Wan.

I could imagine some episode of 'Rebels' where a remorseful Commander Cody is featured leading rebellious Clone Troopers against the Empire.

In the now noncanon novel Dark Lord The Rise of Darth Vader, clone Climber resists the order and allows the two main Jedi of the book to escape, but he's forgotten after that. It's a shame the before The Clone Wars the clones themselves were nothing more than mindless bio-drones asides from Climber, Alpha from the comics, and the Commandos.

Other than him, none that I know of.

Cody didn't resist. He turned on Kenobi in ROTS and hasn't been in "Rebels" yet.

Rex said that he didn't betray his Jedi, but I'm not sure what that means, because his Jedi was probably Vader.

That is an interesting point - possibly Rex didn't have to resist Order 66, because he wasn't called upon. I've heard people say he had his chip removed, but I don't actually know where that is coming from. It's not in TCW and I don't remember it in Rebels.

The scar was shown in "Rebels" to show that Rex had the chip removed, but that doesn't say when he had it removed. In my opinion, it could have been after Order 66 happened, because he could have remembered what Fives had told him.

The only way a clone could "resist" Order 66 is if they discovered and removed their chip before the Order was given. That's apparently what Rex and his pals did.

Makes sense after Tup and Fives sacrifise in Season 06. I'm still upset about that. I freaking loved Fives

I will not fear, fear is the mind killer
