I just saw this movie but as it is the 3rd part of the trilogy, I was a little bit disappointed that Aki Kaurismäki didn't cast Kati Outinen in the movie. I like her previous performances in "Drifting Clouds", "The Man Without a Past", "Juha", etc.

Kati Outinen was in fact casted...as a clerk in the supermarket (if i remember correctly). :) Not much of a role but still...

You are right about that, I found Kati's name in the cast list (well, I have to expand to the FULL cast list to find her name).
