We just don't see him in that role as much as we could. He tends to play the scruffy, slightly crazy and even kind of gross guy.

Actually I considered JB to be a rather lowlife (based strictly on the types of roles he takes). But he sure blew me away with this endeavor! Not too many women can or will object to funny, smart, completely committed and certainly not ugly men!

shareFor what it's worth, I liked the Winslet/Black character pairing better than Diaz/Law--mostly for petty, selfish reasons (wanting Law for myself). Amanda was whiny and annoying, IMO. Apart from her appreciating his daughters, I don't get why Graham fell for her. I would think after a while he would get tired of her.
Iris and Miles related to most people, and I think that's why many people appreciated them.
