Was there anything going on between Jorgen and Anna? I just got some weird feelings when the two of them were together, especially when she goes to his office. I kept waiting for that can of worms to be open.

I totally got that feeling. I thought for a split second that he was going to kiss her when she came into the board meeting to confront him about dying. I really did get the sense there was something very odd between them.

No, not at all...there are some good fathers out there after all. Just because there are a lot of perverts out there didn't mean Jorgen was like that at all. Based on his character--ensuring his family's future would be secure, his relationship with his own children, i would preclude that notion.
shareAfter rewatching the movie, I noticed that Jacob and Pramod share the same look in the beginning of the film when they say goodbye. It just shows how much they love and care about each other, both Jacob and Pramod, and Jorgen and Anna.

This is a Danish film. Try looking at it that way. People in other cultures sometimes express emotion in ways that might make Americans feel uncomfortable. How do you feel about two Latin-American men engaging in an 'abrazo'?
shareyes yes Freud said all daughters want to get it on with their fathers, but he was also a cokehead! I think you people are looking for something sinister that really isn't there. This movie puts everything all out in the open. I think that's what I liked about this movie... the only hidden agenda was extremely well-intentioned, albeit a little odd... Helene and Jakob didn't even try to rekindle the old flame. It was a very clean movie in that sense.
