Why the criticism?

I thought this was one of the best movies I've seen in a while. I guess I would have liked to have seen Jacob a little more animated and emotional, but really that is all. It was part of his character though, kind of a loner, maybe not comfortable with other adults. I thought everyone did a superb job acting and Helene and Anna were beautiful! Really glad I watched this movie!!
