Could Vick case help this movie get released?

There is much discussion about dogfighting, etc. in the news these days due to the indictment of Michael Vick. Does anyone suppose that this could have any impact on getting Walker-Payne released?

I too was an extra and would love to see this movie released in some form or fashion!

Any information anyone has would be great.
