Like a fine wine -better with age

When my wife and I went to see Nacho in the theater when it first came out, we weren't impressed at all. It wasn't awful, but very forgettable. I happened to catch it on tv not long ago and it was like it wasn't even the same movie -I couldn't believe how many times I literally laughed out loud. I dvr'd it and showed it to my three daughters. Now my six year old walks around the house saying, "Hey, take it eeaasaay" and "I'm not Listening to you. You're crraaazy." And my eight year old daughter sings "I am singing at the party..." She knows every word. I think it is hilarious - my wife not so much.

It does get better... I watched it over the weekend with my girlfriend and we couldn't stop laughing. It's a very funny movie to quote.

It has definitely grown on me as well. I wasn't impressed the first time I saw it, but the lines being quoted here and there made me realize how funny the writing was. Along with the amazing delivery of JB this one has become better as the years went along, I agree.

Some films work better in the comfort of your own home where expectations, paying 10 bucks, and a crowd of people don't hit you at once. Sometimes when you get your expectations for a film out of the way, you can re watch it after enough time has passed with a more neutral mind as well. This has happened many times for me.
