Bloods

Ex-Mayor Sharpe was so keen on labeling Booker as the "Republican" yet all of Sharpe's supporters always had on red. His supporters were some mean lookin' dudes too. Just saw on Wikipedia how investigators foiled an attempt by the Bloods to assassinate Booker. Scary stuff, all the red make a lot of sense now. The way all the cops acted in the movie make you wonder how many bloods run through the veins of the Newark PD. I'm sure Sharpe had no problem looking the other way and forcing the Dept. to take in former "supporters".
