I have yet to see a fan film that is good. Most just poke fun or just an excuse to make a film. Ok with CG you can do quite a lot of good stuff but its no good if the story sucks. This film was terrible , the whole seer thing does'nt work and theirs too much backstory. It should keep to the core elements of star wars. So a movie between revenge of sith and new hope should : introduce rebellion, show their first victory as the end battle
Have a few jedi who try and discover the truth and die for the rebellion they could hint they are not the only ones.
A lot of fan films presuppose a deep understanding of star wars and even some non-canonical knowledge which most people dont have

the first rebellion victory technically was in A New Hope in the battle of Yavin. Before that, the rebellion were mostly on the run from the Empire.

No it wasnt. During the opening crawl, it says something to the effect that the rebellion just won a battle in which the deathsatr plans were stolen. Paraphrasing of course.

So unless a film sticks to your exact ideas of what it should be, it's terrible? Interesting point of view.

(And no, I'm not trying to defend this film. I don't think it was particularly good, either. But for other reasons.)
