Bad movie, but even worse acting by HB

Ok it's safe to say this movie is bad.. Not Halle's best. Not only that but did anyone else think her acting was absolutely horrible in this? It was painful watching her in some scenes. There was no subtlety and at times she overacted so bad that I was cringing. Like when Ro and Miles were eating breakfast (eggs and toast) It was so annoying watching her in that scene. It was just so uncomfortable. She reminded me of that horrible Kristen Stewart and she is a way better actress than that drip. Halle is still one of the most beautiful actresses out there but it seems like her acting was just bad bad bad in this one. I'm guessing it was because her heart wasn't in it... The movie is just bad.

I thought I would be the only one to say her acting was bad in a few scenes. Forget the breakfast scene...What about her giggling? And the scene where she steps out of her room in the red dress to meet Miles in the hall and he says 'Wow'. And she laughs. OMG! Straight as the crappy mish-mash Hollywood film. It was AWFUL. I was cringing as well.

YES! I came here to say the same thing. Her high pitched 'playful' giggles were like nails on a blackboard.

C'mon. Are you really that surprised? She is one of the worst actresses on the big screen. Horrible in everything she's in. She can almost destroy a movie.

I have to agree with you on that. Her acting was atrocious. They should have casted me, I could have done a much better job.

Always look for the positive in every situation.

I didn't think the movie was TOO bad; but a lot of it was silly, unnecessary, and boring. I'd give it a 6.5. But the acting was terrible, although I didn't mind the mortuary man. I thought he was O.K....oh, and Bruce Willis of course did his usual job (whatever that means). The rest IMO, were woeful.WOEFUL!
