midnight movies today?

are certain films still shown at midnight? and i don't mean the premiere of "lord of the rings" or whatever but what people call "art"-films, independent ones. does that still exist or is it totally dead?

i'm from germany and as far as i know we were never given such a wonderful treatment with midnight films. i can't imagine anything better than watching "pink flamingos" back in 1973/74 at midnight with all those subcultures in the audience.

There's Grindhouse of course.

Some Fridays the Duke of York's in Brighton put on late night screenings. The current programme includes Blade Runner, Warriors, Control, and Diary of the Dead.

One cult favourite at the Duke of York's is Withnail & I, the audience participation version.
