Favorite character? (And other ramblings about the ending.)

I know that she's not a main character but, I'd have to say that my favorite character would have to be Susie. She was something totally unexpected and her psychotic ramblings were normally hilarious. (I've heard people say that they're attracted to her... she's both a disembodied head and not real, but, hey, to each his own.)
And, as a favorite main character it'd have to be Dan.
(SPOILERS BE HERE! YAARR, OFF THE PORT BOW!)
And when he died, along with all the personalities that weren't actually Garcian with his ability to reincarnate himself, I felt a kind of loss because he was the character that throughout the game I always used, and to find out that he HAS to die simply because of the story (which was fantasy to the point of, "HEY! I just realized something... We can do anything we want! It doesn't even have to make sense!")
Anyway, I also felt bad, in the end, having to kill Iwazaru, he was just a freak who was really a Heaven Smile, and Kun Lun, and representive of his hold on Garcian... but still, that didn't mean that he HAD to die.
Anyway, loved the game, and wasn't expecting it to blow my mind like it did, I was expecting a mere, "Aaah, so that was weird because it was supposed to be, in an attempt to be cool..." where what I got was weird in a good way and a story that actually interweaves itself through and left the player with a nice ending. (Albeit dissapointing.)
