Kind of forced non-linear gameplay

I love it, cause you can like try being anal and doing one area at a time, but then that *beep* creepy ogre comes and chases you away, sometimes the chases go for like 10 minutes, so who knows where you will end up next. It kind of drives me nuts cause I'm the type to do everything by the book in games so I don't miss stuff, I can't stand getting off track! O_O
