It was shot in Little Rock, Arkansas! I only live an hour away and I read about it in the local newspaper. The paper said it would have cost less to shot in Losiana, but she wanted to shoot in Little Rock.
shareYeah I live in Conway... JLA is from North Little Rock and from what I understand, wanted to shoot it in places of sentiment to her. Pretty cool I think - stuff like this just doesn't happen around here. Arkansas is a very beautiful state despite what some might say.

It was largely shot in North Little Rock, AR in the McCain/Lakewood area. It was also shot around various areas of the Central Arkansas area. My friend Christie was an intern. They sought local film students as interns and PAs. Joey graduated from my high school (North Little Rock High School), and has come back often to speak to the theater classes (or did for a period of time). She has been known to dine at Mark Abernathy's restaurants in Little Rock (Loca Luna and Bene Vita) and at Sir Loin's Inn in downtown North Little Rock.
It's scheduled to come to the Market Street Cinema in West Little Rock on December 15th. That may change in the next two weeks, but that's what it's looking like.
Anyone know the location of Lucille's, her dad, Cal's, or the bar the hungout at?
