IMDb missing a few people in the cast credits...

Larry H. Miller
David Nibley (plays the doctor, played Elder Johnson in The Best Two Years),
Dale Critchlow (plays the old man with the crooked nose, played Lyle in Napoleon Dynamite)
Don't-know-for-sure-what-his-name-is (the dude who played Moses "Mosey" whatever-his-last-name-is)

reply

haha...I believe that Moses "Mosey" Maloney was played by Thurl Bailey. He was an old Jazz player.

what about the guy.....jeramiah or however you spell it. They dont have him.

reply

Jeremiah was played by Stan Ellsworth. That may be spelled wrong.

I don't know why he isn't in the imdb... I think that you have to input your own name into the Imdb. Maybe he never submitted himself.

Thank you!! I was trying to figure out where I knew Dale Critchlow from and when I didn't find his name in the credits I was lost. His part in Church Ball was laugh out loud and helped me open up to this flick.

who played downtown the swearing guy in church ball?? i know ive seen him in something, but i dont know what..

reply

also...who played thurman and bertha?

reply

Downtown (aka Mickey) was played by Ross Brockley. He was better known for his roles as the guy in the Holiday Inn commercials. I'd never seen them myself, but apparently he would walk around his house and treat it like a hotel and his parents would reply "what do you think this is? A holiday Inn?"

As for Thurman, his name is Steve Anderson. He's a high school drama teacher and very well established actor in the Utah acting community. He's in a lot of stuff.

Bertha was played by Mindy Young. She's an actress and director from Utah County. Last I heard, she was putting on some productions over at the Scera Outdoor theatre.

Steve, Mindy and Ross are some of the nicest, sweetest people you'll ever meet. Really good folks.

If someone in the cast is missing from the listing, you can always add them...
