Didn't Wyatt say that if they killed just one of the aliens, that they would declare war on the whole world? did i miss something?

Whether it is a film or not; even then it has to make sense. That would be moronic for them to declare war on us defending ourselves. Especially on our own planet!

If impersonating a Police Officer is an offence, shouldn't actors be imprisoned?

An animal such as a wolf or bear has every right to protect it's family and itself. Yet when it kills a human we hunt it down anyways.

Us killing one of them would be the same thing.

Yes, because it makes sence to cultivate a planet for whatever reason, then just out the blue kill them all.

The script sucked.

They didnt cultivate us. They found and experimented on us. in this movies universe anyway.

Except we'd kill the creature to protect others, particularly if it's a roving animal. These things would have no business coming here and killing us. So it's carte blanche as far as I'm concerned.

Wyatt was fine with giving himself up, but he couldn't make that choice for his girlfriend, so that left him little choice. Besides, the aliens never found the body of the first alien that was obviously killed maliciously, before the house blew up. Maybe the thinking was that there was no evidence that Wyatt blew the house up; maybe the aliens did it inadvertantly? Greenie tripped over a gas line then lit a cigar? Ok maybe not. If you look at this thread,http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0457275/board/nest/114838115?d=115988210#1 15988210 one of the makers of the movie stated they had worked on a whole bunch of fiction around the plot, enough for a sequel or two. The aliens DO come back and eradicate most of the population. Wyatt and others altered like him become super alien fighters.

You have no idea how the creatures reasoned or thought. Maybe they got bored of us and wanted to make way for some other species they created. bottom line you just don't know.
