Damn, that Hope does really everything I hate in a woman. Nagging, being illogical, won't listen to reason etc. etc. Must be a really good actress cause I hated her guts.
shareShe didn't do anything I'd consider illogical. She just wanted to get the heck out of there, perfectly logical given the circumstances.
shareI hated her as well. But I didn't think she was a great actress. She was just playing the part of a character that was quite unlikable.
shareShe seemed the weakest written of all the characters, and her choices were iffy. I can understand that she was getting suspicious of Wyatt's friends, but by the end, when she kills the alien(even after Wyatt specifically told her that if a human kills an alien, they will wipe us ALL out), it was just a stupid move. I know she "loved" him(though their relationship doesn't seem that deeply written), but he was willing to go with them for the sake of keeping everybody else safe, then she just comes in, "BAM" and "They aren't takin' you ANYWHERE!". The ending ambigious, as all seems fine, but it's still kinda a pricy gamble.
Other than her, all the other characters were great. Even the sheriff out-shined her.
