The Intestines and Flesh Disease *spoiler*

those two things were the best part of the movie for me. i've never seen that before - a tug of war with your own intestines. disgusting and so awesome.

also, the make-up for Cody's flesh virus was terrific. insanely realistic and grody looking. that's officially what i want all zombies to look like.

well done all around on it, guys. but i think it was better that it wasn't a theatrical release. i don't think it would have done too well (though i liked it).

DUDE! u like read my mind! The effects were so different and ORIGINAL!

I also thought that the script was believable. Another pleasant surprise. I have to admit I expected low-budget waste of $3.95.

The editting was top notch as well. The movie caught me unaware like the old ones I remember as a kid. I jumped a couple of times and wondered "what was that?? - Oh it's originality!"

great movie, I gave it a 9 out of 10. There was still something "low-budget" about it that didn't make it an all out believable movie. But the script, FX, plot, acting... yeesh I forgot the actors. They did a marvelous job - so authentic and unposed (no posers here!) that I could sit back and "relax" (on the edge of my seat :) and enjoy the suspense.

Cody's flesh virus was very well done- easily the grossest "disease" makeup I've seen.

And Otis' intestine tug of war was very grisly and cool. I also liked the touch that when we first see him with his grievous injury, he's crying out for his mother. Nice, humanising touch...

The makeup combined with Wyatt's description of the disease was pretty disturbing. One of those "throw up in your mouth a little" moments.

the reason for that realistic looking virus-skin-disease was beacause.... it was real, the actor had a terrible skin disease, the times you see him when he's normal, that's make-up..
that's how he looked without the make-up..

it's true, the director told me

That tug of war between Otis and the alien over his intestines was very grisly and disgusting stuff indeed. Ditto Codi's hideous flesh-eating virus.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!
