did Michael seem to crazy in season 3?

i liked him in season 1 and 2 but he seemed way to crazy and paranoid in season 3. by the end of season 2 even Michael and Moe seemed to get along.

i thought he'd be a good boss but he was so crazy in season 3 that i preferred Freddie

he seemed way out of character for the final season

he was slightly over the top, but I think it had to do with his bead injury.

I think there were a few things that factored into Michael's craziness: the head injury, drugs, and the part where Tommy tells Michael that he regretted not letting Freddy finish him off at the end of Season 2.
