Glen's lack of dialog and general interest in anything made him one of the funniest peripheral characters... Now he speaks way too much and out of character. They have also seem to have dumbed down Early in a Homer Simpson way.
Used to be the best thing on Adult Swim...now the whole show this season feels a bit 'meh'... :(
It happens with all shows, same with George Costanza in Seinfeld and Charlie in It's Always Sunny. The characters become caricatures but I think it works well here. If Glenn wasn't so dumb then he'd never be bothered by Early, if Early wasn't so dumb he wouldn't still be chasing after Glen's wife. I think the shows probably funnier than it's ever been. The music to me is the only thing that's meh now.
