Is Frank Zito actually Mr. Robbie? (spoilers to the first)

I was wondering if the Maniac in this one was supposed to be the same character as the one in the first? I'm guessing...he just somehow managed to get away at the end of the first since he was in fact still alive. Maybe he just changed his methods, started killing parents who abuse their kids, unlike killing people because he is abused. I guess that's a better "career" change, but not TOO much better. Heh heh..

It's ashame about Spinell's untimely death, he was a good guy and could've made this a great film with his acting and writing.

Not too sure but it's possible since he ended up living at the end(I guess). And since Frank was abused as a child, it would make sense for him to kill abusive parents.

Doubtful. Even if he got away the police and public would know what he looks like and therefore I don't see how its possible he could get a TV show or any kinda job for that matter.

I bet it would've been a non-canon sequal, sort of like the Warlock and Leprechaun series. Same actor, different storyline.
