LOVE MONKEY LIVES! It will be on VH1 starting This April, they will play the 3 episodes that aired back to back one night and then play the rest weekly Tuesday nights at 9pm...

So we get to see the five unaired episodes. Big whoop. It's still over. I doubt they will keep making more episodes beyond the ones that were already in the can. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we get to see the rest of the episodes. But the problems are:
A. There will be no "finale," that will make for a "happy ending" or "closure" to the series.
B. Why am I going to invest my time into characters that are going to dissappear forever in 8 weeks ? (Would you start watching a new show if you knew it was going to be cancelled after 8 episodes?)
OUR ONLY HOPE IS THAT THE SHOW DOES SO WELL ON VH1 THAT CBS SOMEHOW PICKS IT BACK UP. VH1 IS JUST THE DUMPING GROUND FOR THE SHOW. I HOPE I'M WRONG, BUT I DOUBT IT.
Tom Cavanagh has already signed on for a pilot on ABC (I think) for next season. It's probably just a matter of time before the "official" cancellation announcement is made. Bummer - this was a fun show.
shareAh, it will be fun to watch the remaining episodes. Want to see what really happens read the book. Although the book does not have much to do with the show but is very good none the less. And just think in the UK everything is basically 8-10 episodes in a season.
shareWow, ronciconia, I'm guessing you're the 'glass half empty' sort of person. We're lucky to be getting the last five unaired episodes. Obviously someone took note that people were interested in this show, otherwise VH1 wouldn't have bothered airing any of it. Buck up, life's not so bad...
shareI've been watching the first three on my TIVO periodically since they first aired. I mean Id love for the series to continue but Im super stoked about the five eps I havent seen yet. Hell, The Office in The UK is only 6 Episodes a season (12 Total). Im glad we get what we get....
