Jagi? (Spoiler Alert!)

This movie made me really confused. I'm a bit dissapointed. The animation is top notch, but the story and violence is my problem.

In this movie Jagi seems to never have existed for some reason. In this movie Ryoken adopted 3 children and not 4. Which is beyond me, and I can't seem to understand when this movie takes place, if it's supposed to fit in anywhere or not? Also, in this movie Kenshiro, Toki and Raoh are kids when the nuclear holocoast starts. In the series, they are all grown up. Even Lynn and Bart was born when it happened in the series. It's all very confusing to me.

The animation is very, very good. The violence however is quite low and it dissapoints me some what. This movie also gave me a very different look at Raoh who suddenly shows a lot more compassion to his brothers.

Anyway, it was a good movie. But it's hard to take in when you watched the series.

Never mind, I understand the Jagi part now. :)
Allthough, how can they be kids when the holocoast is?

The holocaust did not occur when they were kids. Raoh, Toki and Kenshiro were originally from a fictional country called Shura, which was on the brink of war when they were still kids. Raoh, Toki and Kenshiro were sent to Japan to escape the war and learn Hokuto Shinken from Ryuken. The series Hokuto no Ken 2 elaborates more on this.
