shareAK had ate Pasta Arrabiata (PZ says this). Pasta Arrabiata has a lot of chilli flakes in it. Hence, the Italian dish been very very spicy!
shareI live in Italy, and I can say that Italian food can be very spicy. Especially in the Region Calabria they tend to use a lot of pepperoncino (very hot red chillies), down there they even eat it for breakfast, some of the stuff can actually ruin your stomach if you abuse it.
Sure also Indian food is spicy, but it's a different kind of spicy, Italian spicy comes mainly from the chillies, while Indian spicy comes from the mixture of different spices, and the taste therefor is quite different.
