Flushed Away?

Near the end during 1, Said disappears again when Ana wakes in the morning and finds him gone. As she is doing this we hear her toilet flush. Anyone care to speculate on the reason for this, as Ana is not using it at the time. Could this be Said's escape route kind of apparating a la Harry Potter?🐭
