no one noticed it to be a copy??!!

It has taken nearly nine years for an Indian Director to be "inspired"
by Nine Months. What we get then is a Siddharth Anand meets Chris
Columbus in a Yash Raj package. So you could meet Hugh Grant (Khan-competent),Julianne Moore (Zinta-dependable), Tom Arnold (Warsi-getting better) and Joan Cusak (Tania Zaetta- getting worse) and Robin Williams(Abhishek Bachchan in one of his most hammiest cameo)or go to Blockbuster and pick up the original instead. Too much hype little spike.

It also sounds like it follows the basic plot of "Chutney Popcorn"--but with straight people instead of lesbians.

Give it a rest ppl! It was a decednt movie, let's leave it there.

reply

why leave it there and forget it? it was a copy of nine months and that is what it should be remembered for.
the director should first tell us from what should we expect from his film and give credit to the real creative persons and not the yashraj copycat machines.
then we will forget and enjoy the movie.

ramgopal verma told that SARKAR was based on GODFATHER and gave credit to its creator before the audience finding it for themselves and point finger at him.this way we all enjoyed sarkar even more than godfather and did not felt cheated.

yash raj is the well known and noted indian production house across the world.if they will do such cheap stealing acts like mahesh bhatt, then what kind of image they are creating of bollywood in front of global including indian audience!

...although I do agree with you, I could say that before you bite the head off this movie and all those that have something to do with it- I advise you to first check out all the movies (bollywood and otherwise) that have been 'based' off novels, tv shows, comidies, and actual people and haven't given credit to those involved.

And I also begg to differ- The director HAD stated that he had gotten the storyline from a writer that was inspired by an "AMERICAN" movie on an Indian talk show

**We fat all creatures else to fat us, and we fat ourselves for maggots. **
