I can't believe that not many people have noticed its a remake of NINE MONTHS, with bits and pieces of FRIENDS thrown in. Entertaining, yes- but its' a Goddamn remake!

Who cares?The moving -in thing isn't new to indian cinema...

It is a total remake of Nine Months, did they have to copy the idea of the cameo too?(Abhishek for Robin Williams as the doctor in the end)..... We have got to have more originality.

friends can copy the delivery scene but a hindi movie cant????...its a well made movie...period...lets leave it at that..

First of all, I do not mind remakes and I love Bollywood films for their clever remakes.

I recognize that it is a remake of Nine Months. I agree with you, but could you be more specific and point out a few examples? I try to point this out to my roommate, but he does not believe me (even after he has seen Nine Months).

Since I watched Salaam Namaste without subtitles available to me (I don't speak Hindi), I have a very weak case when I try to cite examples of similarities. I was hoping some of you could help me out.

Remakes of western movies always happens in Bollywood.
