Could anybody suggest more movies about the Otaku subculture?

Or any other films depicting teenage lifestyles in modern Japan?

not a movie but you should defiantly watch the anime Welcome to the NHK, great series

There is the classic Gainex anime, "Otaku No Video". :) It is the opposite though. A bunch of Otaku guys manage to draw a normal guy into their world. There quest is to become "Otaking".

There is also How to Date an Otaku girl, it's pretty good and Kamikaze Girls might be similar.
