The first episode was played here on Sunday and was excellent. I was wondering if any Kiwis or even an Australian could tell me who played Garland's father because his face was really familiar and it's driving me nuts. He isn't credited anywhere that I can find.

He was on Shortland Street as Daniel Buchanen. Can't really remember what his character was like though.

Perhaps that's why you find him familiar, he is the splitting image of these two!
It was from Shortland Street and before that from City Life but that is really just showing my age!
