LISTEN WE'VE ALL SEEN WORSE ZOMBIE MOVIES ON A BIGGER BUDGET,I THOUGHT IT WASN'T THE GREATIST...but is better than some italian stuff.Much better than vampires vs zombies that really sucked.More believeable than running fast zombies or talking zombies..nice original scene one hot zombie,that's more original than learning zombies! Give us more!!!
shareI've seen most of the Italian zombie movies (and own many of them in my zom collection) and NO this is much worse than just about anything the Italians made. Only DotD 2: Contagium is likely as bad as DL. There are still a few more low budget-no budget zom films I haven't seen (the apparently misleading Vampires vs Zombies of the 'insert footage for better marketing' genre). DL is one of the worst zom movies ever made. Even counting for a few notably bad ones I've missed (like Hood of the Living Dead), it's still definitely in the bottom 10. DL almost makes the awful and infamously mistitled 'Zombie 5: Killing Birds' look better by comparison. DL makes Fulci's cheesy 'horror film' "Manhattan Baby" and Bava Jr's "Demons 2" look like good films. I could stay more awake through a 2nd viewing of Tsai's boring and pretentious "Goodbye Dragon Inn" than seeing DL again.

Demons 2 wasn't that bad, especially compared to Lamberto Bava's zombie flick- Graveyard Disturbance, or other films in the Demons series like Demons III: The Ogre or Black Demons.
