You could tell Rachel wasn't going to win because she never had troubles with surfing that she got over at some point while at Solar Blue. Corey never got over his problem with just letting go and accepting things happen the way they happen rather than calculating everything, so him not winning was obvious. Mike, Amy and Rachel didn't really have any problems that affected their surfing. Which leaves just Eric and Brooke, who both had troubles through the year and ultimately they both eventually figured out their issues and got over them, which I predicted 13 weeks ago as being the winners.
Which was basically the same thing they did last season, the under dogs or those with issues surfing win.
eric was m favourite but he always lost to the others in the comps, if u ask me the reason why eric won is cause his character was most popular with the audience and heaps of girls thought he was the hottest and most ppl wanted him to win.

it wasnt really the same thing as last season..coz edge never really had a problem or was an underdog it was only a coincidence that fly was an underdog aswell.
