lmfao xjibb I was sayin da same thing when i saw this, that kid is a future homosexual. I mean seriously, pinky swear? WTF!! not to mention he sounded like a 4 year old girl. not a 10 year old boy.

Dayum, you all are being awfully hard on a little kid. He was a cute little boy, and he did fine in the movie. He was only 10, not some man that had been to prison for 20 years.

I thought the reason the kid may have acted the way he did is because his father (Tyrese) tried to protect him from all negative aspects of growing up in that kind of environment. And so he was therefore ignorant of 'hood ways....

I have to agree did you see the way the kid ran at the end on the beach scene it was pretty bad ,and the fact that he plays with toy horses thats kinda gay

Tyrese is driving around thugged out listening to rap, and his kid is playing with horses... Awful. Tyrese should have shown up on the beach w/some action figures or prostitutes or SOMETHING to get the kid some manliness!

The kid was a horrible cast for this film. He acted and spoke like Tyrese kidnapped him from a Bel Air family. Then I looked at his name and he's the director's son. Enough said.

He was a very cute kid.
I like the fact that he still possessed a lot of his innocence.
This does not make him gay, this makes him an innocent kid not yet touched
by violence and corruption.

hes a mother *beep* 10 yr old kid y'all! hes not supposed to be all gangsta and stuff... i think it was adorable how he played with horses and stuff! i think he was a cute kid... not gay... i mean, you cant tell if someones gay by their habit at 10 yrs old. hes innocent, and a sweet kid. maybe hes just sensitive.

OH MY F-ing God LMAO! I just watched this last night and thought maybe it was just me, but I'm sorry that kid just was corny or lame or something. Of course I can't say he's GAY when he's just a kid, but he's definately GAY in the figurative sense. I was just like WTF was he the best kid in the auditions or was he someone's son who works in production or what.

In all seriousness (which is very loosely used)I think we were thrown off 'cause they strattle the fence on his ghetto-ness and suburban-ness. One minute he's like "Daddy can I pleeese have a horsey, yesssss!" and the next he's like "Bllllattt! That's the sound of my gat!" If they committed to the "gayness" he already possessed internally it would've come off better.

I NEVER respond to the boards but I had to add my 2 cents to this one, it's great that I'm not the only one going straight to hell! LOL

I'm a gay adult and I must say he sounded like me when I was his age. LOL, and I noticed the actor had the same last name as the director of the movie. The director should have cast a kid more believable then giving the role to family.

I watched the movie and near the end I almost wanted to slap him.
He was a really bad actor, not being offensive or anything but honestly,
he was horrible.
