Anyone know...
How Tyrese could get a job as a armed security guard when he was a felon that just got out of prison?

LOL good question
~you can change the frame but the picture remains the same~
That was just a twist to make him have a gun in his possession at the time the kidnapping took place.
shareTwist eh? More like crappy writing. This movie sucked.

I liked the movie, but some of the writing like this was definitely subpar. It doesnt make sense why they would have given him a gun while he was less than a month out of jail. I think they were trying to think of a good reason for him to have a gun but still look like he was trying to stay straight.
shareIn the movie Tyrese said something like he got the job because it was an organization to help ex-cons.
shareyeah that what it was y'all need to listen. He said it was for ex-cons. He only went down for robbery right?? not murder or assault right?? so its not exactly a violent crime. So that would make sense.

Here's a better question: what department store requires an ARMED guard?
Seriously, when was the last time you heard of someone knocking over a Wal-Mart?
hahah yeah yeah true.
It was in the hood tho anything can happen i mean they got armed guards just to patrol the apartments man! Thats not in Beverly Hills. This is Watts. So yeah.

Im pretty sure most department stores intentionally avoid having armed guards. Security guards opening fire opening fire on civilians over a couple hundred dollars of merchandise is a horrible idea.
