Regina Hall, along with Leelee Sobieski and Shane West, are in Los Angeles shooting a dramatic film called 'The Optimist.' Hall plays a teacher in the slice of life film, which is a remake of a Russian play. "My character was originally Russian, but she's not anymore," laughed the actress. "But the movie is about a family and they're dysfunctional as hell. They're crazy!" Hall will begin shooting the fourth installment of 'Scary Movie' at the end of the summer.
