is Shane West good in this film? i mean is it a movie that will make him more known....? as a good actor i mean?

reply

I already think he is a good actor he just always ends up in the movies that arent
as popular

reply

exactly!!!!.. the right move he only had was the AWTR.. look at james franco now,he's just of the same age as shane(they starred together in Whatever it Takes) but he'd roles that are more mature and his movies are making some names...i hope(HECK, I PRAY,,,besides, shane is far better than any other young actors i've known..it all comes natural from him..) shane get more lucky this time around..you guys also check for WHAT WE DO IS SECRET,i think that movie will rock!!!

reply

Just for the record Shane must have better luck than James Franco cause I don't know who he is (and I even saw Whatever it Takes, was he the popular guy then?) Also, I don't think he's going for popularity I think he's going for roles/movies with depth now

Yeah I agree...Shane seems like he picks movies based on the emotional content, rather than the popularity of them. James Franco has achieved more success in terms of probably economic success (all those spiderman movies probably got him paid a lot of money), but Shane doesn't seem to mind all that. Both are good actors. I used to think that they were just pretty faces, without any acting talent...but then I saw James Franco's performance in City by the Sea and then him playing James Dean (the best performance of his lifetime). And Shane...he's just good in whatever he does....Liberty Heights, A Walk to Remember, ER, etc.

You know I met Shane and any role he chooses is so him. Like in A Walk To Remember I see a lot of him in it. Like the way he puts himself. Or ER he brings a lot of his voice out by the looks he gives ppl.
To me he picks roles that shows who he is. Like What We Do Is Secret is amazing and they redid all the songs with his voice. So when you see it all the music is all him.

I thought he was great. He has good comedic timing.
