The only 2 decent actors were left with small roles

Shocking that Madsen & Hopper ended up with such small roles while a bunch of nobodies took the main slots.

It's not shocking if you consider the budget. Actors like that need to be paid. A film like this could only afford enough to pay them for a few days of work, i.e...the bit parts. Essentially they pay to get them in, put them in the trailer and make people go "Wow they are in this movie, let me check it out" just to lead to dissapointment when they are in a cruddy movie for less than a few scenes. Not a bad thing in terms of doing biz in Hollywood, it works all the time.

They were all good actors. Just cos youve never heard of them doesnt make them *beep* Everyone in this film was *beep* awesome. Id never heard of it when I first watched it. And I am always a little bit worried about watching low budget movies. But this film was brilliant. I loved it and I dont know how you can say that the only people that were good in it was them. Cos they werent. They were *beep* It's the little actors that are brilliant. Not the big ones. Theyre all a big pile of horse *beep*

I didnt really like any of the acting other than the Guy who played the Milky Eyed dude who couldnt see properly, he was quite good (cant remember his name)

I thought Jason Connery was absolutely absymal in this... Is he a decent actor, or is it just his Dads name that gets him parts in movies?

You're thinking of Kingsly Martin.

One of these nobodies happens to be a dear friend of mine who needs a break into the business. It's his chance to get experience and hopefully noticed. Give them a break.

Which one was your friend?

I don't think this movie was trying to be an acedemy award winner...I think it was just supposed to be a fun horror flick. When I picked it up I knew I was in for a cheesy horror flick. I wasn't expecting it to be "Bobby" (I watched Bobby right before I watched this)

I've seen TONS of movies that had (as you rudely and inappropriately labeled) "nobodies'. Everyone had to get a start somewhere (remember The Terminator). James Cameron was your “nobody” back then. Like the poster on here said, give them a break.

Same here, one of the actors is a dear friend of mine who also is starting out in the business. Much praise to him for his first role in a movie with big name actors.
