Nothing against Grace, she's likeable enough. However, a big aspect I loved about the original Hitcher is the originality of a final guy! Going for the generic final girl really jsut.... took all of that way. Plus, remake Jim was actually really, really likeable <3 Maybe even moreso than original Jim (though I liked him too) So that just makes it worse IMO ._.

I just don't see the point of a remake when your "big contribution" is changing the gender of the lead?

it really would have been nice seeing either Jim and Grace both live the ultimate happy ending. or we get a dark ending where John kills everyone including Grace

OR they could have done what the original did, kill the girl, and have the guy live..... lol
Instead we suck out the originality and go for a stereotypical (and forgettable) flick !_! I hate Platinum Dunes

I've seen more kill 'em all endings than I have final guys. Plus, it clashes with his whole borderline-suicidal "Kill Me" nature.

Final Guy > Everyone Dies > Both Live > Final Girl
For me anyways
