does he actually do the singing in the movie??

Yeah, I don't remember how many songs he sings but I particularly remember him singing is "The Breakup Song (They Don't Write Em Like That Anymore)".

Unfortunately his vocals on "My Kinda Lover" at the end, were pretty bad

The odd part about that is that they went with the studio version for that song where as in the other performances it was 'live' and sounded much better but the My Kinda Lover song did have a very high pitch in the chorus that didn't really fit Leguizamos range

But the other songs he did I was surprised by his singing though

Yes. He's actually pretty good. You can hear more of his singing in the movie Sueno. It's funny to me because when he did Moulin Rouge, he was not looking forward to singing and yet he's done 3 movies where he sings more than 1 song.

He did a bang up job on Eddie Mney's "Shaken", that's for sure. I was so impressed.

I agree, i wanted to find somewhere the version of Shakin that he sings, but i can't find it. Does anyone know if its available or where I can download it from?

either way i was impresssed with his singing..and a bit about the movie--i enjoyed it, i actually felt like the dialogue was real, how people realisticly fight and talk. just my opinion tho...no bashing please.
