Was the timing of the voices off in any one else's DVD?

Through most of this movie, everyone's voices were slightly off of when they said them,so it looked wierd. I'm trying to find out if it's like this on all the dvd's or if mines defective.

reply

Rented from Netflix.Sound was screwed up.Voices were off and sound faded in out.

reply

I rented at Blockbuster and noticed this as well. My Uncle said it was like watching a Japanese movie because it was so obvious.

reply

Why would this have happened? Who's screw up is it? I wish I could get my money back but it's too late.

reply

i rented this and it has the same problem, voices are noticeably off sync. someone really screwed up on this one, it's very distracting.

reply

I rented it last night at Blockbuster and mine was fine.

reply

I just got it now...will let you know later after i've watched it...but i believe it will be fine since i've never had problems like this before. Except for some stupid jackass not knowing how to pick a friggin disk.

If ur 1 of these persons....i hope u lose yr fingers

reply

Rented from Blockbuster this weekend and the voices are way out of synch from their mouths.

reply

I agree. I believe it went away when I paused the movie and played again. I thought it was a decoding issue due to the receiver.

reply

I noticed this problem while watching it last night. I got mine from Netflix. I just put on subtitles so I wouldn't have to watch their lips.

reply

I didn't notice if the audio was out of sync, but I did see a video gitch when the guys were talking around the table half-way through the movie. It appeared that some frames where missing. I noticed this twice while watching the movie. Did anyone notice this? (Rented from BB online)

reply

Yeah, I saw that, voices seemed fine, but I totally noticed the glitch, its like hes sitting, then standing, then sitting for 1 tenth of a second. Trippy.

"Think twice before you touch my girl, come around I'll let you feel the burn."

reply

dammit, i just rented it on a whim before ever hearing of the movie, i hope mine doesnt do this, it drives me nuts

reply

I noticed the same thing, but I what I discovered is that the sync SNAFU only occurred with the 5.1 audio track. When I switched to 2.0 stereo... problem solved. I suspect that the folks not experiencing the anomaly are viewing with the 2.0 stereo selected.

reply

Just finished seeing the movie on DVD and yes it did seem that the voices were off a bit. It was subpar cinema at best.

reply

i noticed it when i think ed burns mouth was moving but matthew lillards vocie was going

reply

I recently watched this and there's a scene where they are talking in a restaraunt and Matthew Lillard says something about his kid *beep* his pants and there's a glitch there. But the voices still matched the movement of the characters mouths after that.

reply

The UK dvd was fine

I'm gonna refuse you an offer you can't make
