Sad to think.....

To counteract the negative threads made by people who cannot comprehend the fact that a history of any grouping of people will not only encompass many facets, but that all of them are just as important as the next - even if they do not necessarily represent a happy ending or a reality that is not so nice.

Personally, I think this was the best documentary that I watched in 2010 for a variety of reasons; mainly because it gives a glimpse of a part of gay culture in its prime. The only sad and depressing thing about it is that a quick web search indicates that at least three of the men interviewed have passed away since their tapings for this documentary (Mel Cheren/AIDS, Rodger McFarlane/suicide, and Alvin Baltrop/diabetes), and at young ages to boot. I didn't find the documentary boring either, it was quick and efficient, though I wouldn't have minded hearing more of their stories for a bit longer.
