When I watched this movie, I couldn't help remembering the Tom Clancy novel. I think that if there was an adaptation from it, this is the way it could be done.

Wow, good catch. The movie is one of my favorites and Without Remorse was my favorite Clancy novel although I haven't read it in a long time. I always wished it could be made into a movie and as previously mentioned this is pretty much it. I think if it was made into a movie you would have to lose the POW storyline to make it manageable and that's pretty much what this movie is except for the hooker in the book died.
