Favorite scene

When the Russian comes to his apartment saying he's a cop
and Denzel knows before the guy knocks on his door
and then his attitude...

Don't you want to leave me your card, officer... in case I remember anything?

How'd you find me?

We who?

I love this film 8.5/10... the plot was kind of simple though.

Which is your favorite scene?

I like that scene too, but I thought it was unrealistic that Denzel blew his cover. I think a trained CIA agent would just play along like an innocent old man would if the cops came to his door. Instead, he was so confrontational. After the conversation, Teddy told his partner that he knew something was wrong. That's because Denzel gave it away! Great scene though.

My favorite scene was on the lighter side, when the cops gave the money back to Ralphie's mother. "That hurt more than the beating." And then the old lady laughin as she counted the $$$.

That just shows how badass Denzel's character is! LOL 😎

I also liked that scene with the cops... to me it felt taken from a Spider-Man comic, but in a tone in accordance with this movie.

Just MY 2cents..was getting a teeny little bit tedious towards the end in the 'Home Mart'..yeah, McCall's once again killing everything there and suddenly over the PA comes Gladys& the Pips' 'Midnight Train to Georgia'...actually great comic relief!!!

When he looks at his watch and determines it will take 16 seconds to take out the Russian thugs, then does it, then looks at his watch and it took 19 seconds and he seems satisfied.

the restaurant scene where the protagonist and the antagonist meet, reminded me of the similar scene from Heat

so many movies, so little time

Excellent scene at the restaurant!

Restaurant scene for sure

Restaurant scene was my favorite. That scene alone made the film so much better and the reason I rate it as high as I do.
It's not often you see villain who was a bad ass himself s**t bricks. Denzel owned him you could see the fear in Teddy's eyes, I actually felt sorry for him.
Great performance from both actors.

"Welcome to the human race" Snake Plissken.
