Quality FILM!!

Just caught this on DVD and I thought is was EXCELLENT! Very much my kind of film. An alternate look at gangster films to Guy Ritchie. Loved to see a vertran like Paul Barber getting a chance to show how good he is and Tom Bell is a legend. I loved the low life feel of it which reminded me of the best of 70's films. Thought the fight scenes were particully brutal and the ending was great too, maybe not quite idiot proof enough for some viewers judging by a few other comments who seem lost by it, which puzzled me coz I thought it was quite clear. It seemed to loose its way a bit in the middle and some of the support players seemed to be better characters than actors, but I gave it a strong seven and was greatly surprised to discover it.
