The show isnt doing so well. Its basically recycled jokes that Family Guy could not use. I'm not suure it will make it through the season. Though luckily it a summer season show. So they usually have a better chance because most of the competitors are in re runs. You can petition to get season 1 on dvd if you want. It worked to bring back Family guy. I wouldnt be to surprised if they just added episodes of AD to the new FG dvd.

Fox is money whores and you know they will release it because the whole FG fanbase will buy the DVD
shareTrue, but Fox has also order another 13 episodes of American Dad recently and 22 more episodes of Family Guy. THank GOD! American Dad is getting there... give it time and it'll rise to its occasion... like Family Guy.
shareI definitely agree with that. It didn't start so hot, but the last couple of episodes have definitely earned their airtime. Family Guy had a kind of slump after the initial hilarious season opener, but it's definitely back. I hope both live long successful lives, well, not too long. And to support American Dad's success, it's on right after the famous Family Guy, I'm sure some people hate American Dad enough to change the channel, but I don't see it being many.
