Comes out this Friday, playing in 500 theaters

Filmed n 2006 (directed by the talented Dennis Cooper), it finally hits theaters this Friday in 500 theaters. I'm super excited to finally see it. Here is a link to a trailer as well as some behind the scenes footage.

Why did it take 5 years for the film to get released to theaters?

It opened with 422 screens and within 3 weeks was down to 56 screens. Sometimes studios open in as many theaters as possible with a lot of advertising. They do this to collect as much money as possible before word of mouth kills the movie.

This is usually a sign they know it will flop.
